Cartography

Fall 2016

    These maps are from my Cartography class I took in Rome. Every week we would walk an ancient Roman path and nearly every other week we would hand draw the routes.

     The maps were based off the notes I took during the walk and in observation of existing Roman maps.

     I typically drew the linework in black ink and then colored pencil to emphasize important buildings or piazzas along the way.
